The rubric as written (criteria) and its typed levels, in order low to high, per dimension when the question is scored per dimension. scale says how levels are read: pick_one, the judge picks one level and its value is the answer; chained, a level is scored only on full marks at the level below, the judge reports the maximum that applied to the answer at each level and where the chain stopped. category is the scoring category a ruleset weight may key on. A scoring run judges only the questions that have a rule; a question's own scoring_criteria text is not read.
